A total of 127 lots have been catalogued for the Osarus Lion d'Angers Sale, which is due to take place on Tuesday, November 5. The full catalogue, featuring 97 lots in the National Hunt section and 30 in the Flat section, is available to view here ahead of the sale which gets underway at 1pm local time.
Grade 1 winners Capodanno (Fr), Laurina (Fr) and Mighty Potter (Fr) feature among the star names to have been sold from the National Hunt section of this sale. Among the interesting two-year-olds on offer this year is lot 30, a filly by Désinvolte (Fr) out of a half-sister to the multiple Grade 1 winner Un De Sceaux (Fr), and lot 35, a colt by The Grey Gatsby (Ire) whose dam has already produced the Grade 1-placed novice hurdler Predators Gold (Fr).
Meanwhile, one of the potential highlights of the Flat section is lot 106 from the Haras du Mazet draft. This Motamarris (Ire) filly is out of a half-sister to the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and Prix de Diane heroine La Cressonière (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}), while lot 99, a colt by Herald The Dawn (Ire), also catches the eye as a half-brother to the G3 Prix de Cabourg runner-up Du Pyla (Fr) (Vertigineux {Fr}).
